product description

1400g / 3 litres – GROUND IN A SPIRAL JET MILL
NEW!!! – The ultra-fine variety in premium quality with double thermal activation

v a n t e r r e - 1400g in a 3-litre tin of ultra-fine premium zeolite with a top cut of approx. 10 µm and double thermal activation. Such ‘narrow range’ grinding is only possible with a classifier in the jet mill (spiral jet mill), and the entire grinding process must be monitored very closely. We asked our specialists in Austria to do this, and the result is more than impressive: 90% are 7 µm or smaller, 98% are 9.11 µm or smaller. Particles that float exclusively in water, almost without any perceptible substance.

Micronised premium natural zeolite – clinoptilolite HF ø 3 µm – 1400 g – 3 litres. Clinoptilolite content > 90%. Our zeolite is mined in the Carpathian Belt in Romania, followed by the first major thermal activation at approx. 360°C and pre-grinding in a ring roller mill to approx. 200–300 µm. It is then transported to Austria to our Jetmill specialists. They are the manufacturers of these mills and therefore have the deepest insight into the grinding processes. The Jetmill process is a further development of Dr Tihomir Lelas’s idea of grinding and activating zeolite in mills without grinding media. He ‘fired’ the particles at each other using two very large nozzles, with a rotating steel disc fitted with diamond chips also in play. But that was truly “brutal”. We prefer to micronise and activate our zeolite much more gently and at high temperatures in a spiral jet mill, a further development of tribomechanical activation. At 300 km/h and approx. 200°C, the zeolite is ground down to a diameter of 3 µm (microns) in the air stream through particle-particle collisions, thereby becoming highly activated. This level of activation cannot be achieved by any other grinding process. The zeolite particles ‘rub’ against each other in the air stream at approx. 300 km/h until they reach the required size. It is therefore also referred to as a ‘particle-free process’ and is the gentlest zeolite micronisation technique. Our zeolite contains no nanoparticles. All in a 100% reusable, BPA-free tin.

The data sheet (ø 3 µm) and the particle size distribution chart are available for viewing.

Here is an excerpt from the particle size distribution in figures:

Diameter 90% ≤ 7 μm - Diameter 98% ≤ 9.11 μm

  •   0.30 µm =  0.14%  -   0.50 µm =  0.30%   -    0.70 µm = 0.80%   -  1.00 µm =   2.88%
  •   1.40 µm =  6.39%  -   1.80 µm = 4.20%    -    2.20 µm = 4.95%   -  2.80 µm =   8.93%
  •   3.20 µm = 7.18%  -   4.00 µm = 17.02%    -  5.00 µm = 14.50% -  6.00 µm =   14.32%
  •
  • 8.00 µm = 13.21%  - 10.00 µm = 5.18%

From a legal perspective within the European Union, clinoptilolite zeolite is not a remedy, a pharmaceutical excipient, a medicinal product, a food supplement, a medical preparation or a foodstuff. It is listed in the FiBL List of Inputs (Organic Inputs) 2011 and has EU authorisation as an animal feed additive 1g568. Zeolite has been assessed by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as GRAS (Generally Recognised As Safe). However, this is not relevant for the EU.
