product description
Zeolite - Clinoptilolite Wide Range ø 6 µm 1300g
v a n t e r r e - Natural zeolite clinoptilolite with fine grinding averaging 5.63 µm (50%) and 21.54 µm (90%) and broad grain size distribution. This means 90% of the total contents of this canister have a particle size smaller than 22 µm. Only 10% are larger, with the largest particles at 90 µm comprising just under one percent. No nanoparticles! Through thermal activation and a special hot grinding process, it is highly active and possesses a cation exchange capacity of 176 meq/100g (1.76 mol / kg). Micronization in the ring roller mill (a mill that operates by friction) occurs in addition to thermal activation at a temperature of 150-170°C. Like our other zeolite and many other high-quality zeolites, it originates from the Carpathian belt. It has a light, slightly grayish-green color.
Delivery time Germany 2 - 4 days
Delivery time abroad 4 - 8 days
The grain size distribution in numbers is listed on page 2 of the datasheet.
Some more about grain sizes:
Every grinding process produces grain sizes from X to Y, there is no grinding process that simply produces a grain size of e.g. 20 µm or 50 µm. To achieve that, extensive sieving would be necessary, and a figure like 20 µm can mean several things: average, minimum, or maximum grain size. Since that seems too imprecise to us, we have each of our zeolites examined for the exact grain size distribution, so that everyone can see which grain sizes are contained therein.
Due to its broad grain size distribution, it is suitable for a wide range of applications, to name just a few: All cosmetic applications of skin and oral care, base baths, soft peelings, to the addition of animal feed supplements for dogs, cats, horses, for aquariums, and not to forget for soil improvement, lawn care, as a natural leaf fertilizer for pest control, etc.

Zeolite - Clinoptilolite is not legally considered a remedy, pharmaceutical excipient, drug, dietary supplement, medical preparation, or foodstuff in the European Union. It is listed in the FiBL Input List (Organic Inputs) 2011 and has EU approval as a feed additive 1g568. Zeolite has received a GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) assessment from the FDA US Food and Drug Administration. However, this is not relevant for the EU.
